In his PhD thesis on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theses.fr\/2010PA112227\">Post-WIMP Interactions and Existing Applications on a Digital Tabletop<\/a>, he showed that during a group creativity task, using digital post-it notes on a shared digital tabletop instead a physical post-it notes on a regular table leads to a statistically significant decrease of social loafing and increased the equity of contribution of the group members (global group creativity did not increase though, contrary to the literature predictions).<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s now applying a similar methodology of putting people into digitalized situations, and comparing it to a control condition, in a variety of fields, including cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Guillaume Besacier est ma\u00eetre de conf\u00e9rence en informatique (27<sup>e<\/sup> section) \u00e0 l&#8217;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.univ-paris8.fr\/\">Universit\u00e9 Paris 8<\/a>, dans le <a href=\"http:\/\/www.humanites-numeriques.univ-paris8.fr\/\">d\u00e9partement Humanit\u00e9s num\u00e9riques<\/a> et l&#8217;<a href=\"http:\/\/citu-paragraphe.fr\/\">\u00e9quipe de recherche Citu<\/a> du <a href=\"http:\/\/paragraphe.info\/\">laboratoire Paragraphe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ses th\u00e8mes de recherche tournent autour de la fa\u00e7ons dont les nouveaux dispositifs num\u00e9riques et les nouvelles techniques d&#8217;interaction peuvent changer la fa\u00e7on dont nous travaillons, la fa\u00e7on dont nous sommes en relation avec notre environnement, et la fa\u00e7on dont nous collaborons les uns avec les autres. Dans sa th\u00e8se sur les\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theses.fr\/2010PA112227\">Interactions post-WIMP et applications existantes sur une table interactive<\/a>, il a montr\u00e9 que, pour un t\u00e2che de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 de groupe, l&#8217;utilisation de post-it num\u00e9riques sur une table interactive partag\u00e9e au lieu de post-it physique sur une table normale a produit une baisse statistiquement significative de la paresse sociale, et a augment\u00e9 l&#8217;\u00e9quit\u00e9 des contributions des membres du groupe (la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 globale du groupe n&#8217;a pas augment\u00e9 toutefois, contrairement au pr\u00e9dictions dans la litt\u00e9rature).<\/p>\n<p>Il applique maintenant la m\u00eame m\u00e9thodologie de mettre des participants dans des situation num\u00e9riques ou num\u00e9ris\u00e9es, et d&#8217;y comparer \u00e0 une condition de contr\u00f4le, dans une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de champs, y compris le patrimoine culturel.<\/p>\n<h1>Publications<\/h1>\n<p><big><a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.fr\/citations?user=cAwre4IAAAAJ\">Lien vers Google Scholar<\/a><\/big><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Guillaume Besacier Ma\u00eetre de conf\u00e9rence \/ Associate Professor Guillaume Besacier is an Associate Professor in Computer Science at Universit\u00e9 Paris 8, in the Digital Humanities department and the Citu-Paragraphe research team.
